Roger Gifford started his career in finance with SG Warburg (1978–82), working in international banking and capital markets. In 1982 joined a new merchant bank, Skandinaviska Enskilda Bank. Since 2000 he has been SEB's UK country manager.

Sir Roger is a former chairman of the Swedish Chamber of Commerce (UK) and of the Association of Foreign Banks (UK). He is a trustee of St Paul'sFoundation, chair of the City Music Foundation, the English Chamber Orchestra charity among other arts involvements. He is a liveryman and served as Master of the Worshipful Company of International Bankers (2010–11).

Sir Roger joined the Bank Workers Charity Trustee Board in 2011. Following his tenure as Lord Mayor of London, Sir Roger was appointed President of the charity on 1 March 2014.

Sharon’s qualifications include:-

Chartered Director – UK Institute of Directors including Certificate and Diploma in Company Direction.

MBA - Masters in Business Administration from Witwatersrand Business School (International Accreditation).

Chartered Secretary – Acquired from both UK and SA Institutes of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators.

Retired Welsh International Rugby Union brothers, Andy and Steve Moore established Athlete Career Transition (ACT) based on their own experiences.

Coupled with the fact that professional athletes, from all sports are now retiring from their sporting lives with little knowledge or understanding of the skills they have built up over years of elite competition, ACT, in partnership with Sir Steve Redgrave, have developed a comprehensive transition program for athletes at all stages of their career and beyond.
